I see too many threads here on the discussions that it should only be in one thread. Now Bandai Namco have released a update for tales of symphonia so try updating the game. If you are still having issues make sure your Graphic Drivers are updated.

Some people are having problems and they are using windows 7. Perhaps upgrading your system to Windows 10 could fix the problems you are having. Please be nice not put down the developer company they work. Developers work hard and make great games for us so please stop giving them a hard time. Once again if it doesn’t work good with windows 10 you can always roll back to windows 7, also I’m using Windows 10 and ToS is running perfectly fine for me. Last edited by Morbid Tales ; 4 Feb, am.

They are a company selling me a product and it is well within my rights to tell them that their product is not up to modern standards.

I’m not trolling, i’m not here to fight. The whole point of this thread is to help people with computer related problems, the game doesn’t work, lets find some solutions i can do my best to help if i. Is it you computer or is lit game really a bad port. With my personal experience with windows 10 the game is running smoothly and perfect as it should, and i’m not just saying. It runs well i can use fraqs right now and show a demo gameplay.

Anyhow this is getting to be a long comment, but please understand what i’m trying to say, and trying to control the multiple threads, it is annoying to see my message box basicly flooded with the same threads of the same whinny issues, keep it down to 1 or 2 threads please and instead of getting mad at Namco or bandai or steam, lets us as a «Steam» community try to resolve issue first and see whats the problem.

I think your intentions are good, but you should realize that this game was already completely finished years ago by those passionate developers.

It’s just that adjusting the game to work on a PC has been done with as many corners cut as possible. Considering this title was for a large part responsible for getting Tales to the bigger audience it’s actually an insult to the original creaters of Tales of Symphonia.

I doubt any of them would be happy with the condition this port is in. Especially when it is shown that a single person can already add an enormous improvement to the game in just 3 hours without having acces to the source code obviously Durante.

When Zestiria came w you could see they put alot of care into the game, it wasn’t perfect but you could see they tried. With Symphonia’s port it’s obvious they didn’t care much, mistakes in spelling can be noticed super easily considering the custom menu is something most players would check out fairly early on. As for my own experience, the game runs better on my PC than Dolphin so that’s a plus. But with the patch that came my game refuses to run unless I turn off my antivirus.

It are things that shouldn’t be happening when a publisher of this size is responsible for the game.

I do agree that all the raging from some people is definetely immature, but then again games are played by people of all ages. Some just don’t have the life experience yet to keep their calm or perhaps they are simply people maks have a stressful job. To me the game works good on my end and i honestly don’t see any flaws to it. I’m playing it and having fun. Isn’t that the main reason to play games in the first place. Nothing is perfect or easy in life man. The game is great i understand the plot i mean its not entirely messed up game works good, the battles are smooth and fun i’m enjoying it and grinding a lot and I tlaew it. It’s a very good tales of game as i like it a lot better than tales of zesteria because that one has very bad camera view and it was moey awful it was the only JRPG i ov a battle to end due to it To me its my first time playing this Gamecube game, and I feel awful that i miss out on it probably because i was 21 years old at the time finishing up school getting into the working class world living on my own i guess i had a lot going for me and allt stuff so i miss out on it.

I like these make a lot of money tlaes of symphonia because its giving back to us and i have a chance to play through it. I know people are collectors and gaming is a hobby and i know like the orginal is always like 1 you know but i never play the orginal, and even if i did i will still love this port.

I just toaes like seeing people like really saying namco is stupid and bad port and all taht and i know we are sometimes dealing with kids, but still where is your manners really.

You know it had issues or whatnot so really you should know what you are buying and know what you are getting youself. Point is i got this game for free when pre-ordering ToZ, and if the ToS port didn’t work so well its not like olt was a lost or anything as well i have for the PS3 which works fine so lor it wouldn’t be a problem to me.

But I guess i’m lucky and this game works well for me. I know why this game works well for me. I don’t use stupid anti virus i just use default windows setting 2.

I use the lastest and most recent windows and i keep it update, and also my nvidia drivers are up to date when each update is out it notify me on windows and I update so i’m always on the lastest drivers out.

The 1 reason why they do is because I know what i’m doing tlaex my computer I know how to make things work if they have problems. Its to many threads of the same problems i just wish people stop flooding that damn ToS threads as I’m so close to just get off the ToS threads due to all that rubbish.

Maybe if you update your windows and use nvidia drivers if u use nvidia to the windows 10 drivers and see if it works any better. Not maoe you people what you should do. I’m gonna keep my Mqke 7 for a little while longer.

I DID use Windows 10 for a week, but it had quite a few annoyances. Windows 10 has potential, but I’m not ready for it. Also, this game isn’t having problems with Windows 7 anymore. The last patch fixed the crashes and the ridiculous 40 seconds delay to open menus. This port has other problems that aren’t related to the OS you are using, like the 30 FPS cap, but nothing that makes the game unplayable. Per page: 15 30 Date Posted: 3 Feb, am.
