How can you make money with shops I’m constantly hemmoraging money from my shops. Showing 1 — 7 of 7 comments. Don’t have too many shops which makes them not having any customers which looses you money on staff wages. Look on the shop menu and see how much money each shop is making if one is in the red demolish it and monitor how the others do keep going until they are all making a profit.

I am now playing Oak Island in career mode. It starts out with 7 rides which are all classics and many shops. Location is important with shops and many already placed and locked in place are not in very good locations. Only two of my shops are making money and I have not succeeded in changing. I also have at least 6 ATM’s in the park because sometimes people go to the shops with not enough money left.

There are three rides in the park that are out of the way and those shops nearby do business, but not. I am going to try placing a new thrill ride in that area to draw more people.

Even so, the small entry fee and ride fees are making the park as a whole profitable. I started by pushing maximum prices on rides with no entry fee, but people ran out of money too quickly and could not visit the shops. That is why I went with a low entry fee and lower ride fees. People think my park is a bargain and are very happy.

Maybe more rides will draw more guests and shops will begin to be profitable. I have about guests. I am playing on challenge mode building my own park so thats what I am rolling with the first comment going to alter some stuff this morning on my park. If I wanted to share my park with you guys how would i do that?

Those shops will almost always have a line of guests waiting to give you fistfulls of cash for your overpriced food or drinks. You can add a second shop that sells the same stuff near a very busy shop. Try adding extra stuff to the stuff your shops sell. Extra salt on the fries will make your guests thirsty and make them want to buy a drink. If you’re feeling particularly evil, you can add extras to make your guests want to use the bathroom then charge them to use it.

Happy guests are more likely to go searching for a gift shop. Add some gift shops near your ride exits how do you make money on movie star planet you’ll have profits no problem. If your guests are running out of money, try placing an ATM near all your expensive rides and shops.

I don’t think there’s a limit to how much cash guests can pull out of an ATM. Those information desk shops sell priority passes.
